If you have received an invite code, you can register an account for services on dithered.space here.
This is primarily a Matrix account, but the same login details are used to authethicate to this website.

Login can only contain characters a-z, 0-9 or "=_-.+". Lowercase only!
Minimum length is 4. Contact homeserver administrator for shorter IDs.
Your Matrix ID will look like @login:dithered.space
Password should be no less than 8 characters.

The homeserver is ran on a modest VPS. Please utilize the server resources mindfully.

Homeserver is hosted in Helsinki, Finland, so those in Europe are going to have the best experience with this homeserver. Backups are created daily.

Do not join large rooms (rooms with over a thousand users, eg. Matrix HQ) without the permission of the server administrator. Avoid joining a large number of new rooms by eg. unnecessary surfing.

Media you upload via Matrix will be indefinitely stored on the server. Avoid using the service for unnecessary file sharing (of eg. zip archives). The maximum upload size is set at 64MB for this homeserver, however you are discouraged from uploading anything larger than 16MB.

Please contact the server administrator if you experience performance issues, bugs, or the like with the homeserver.

All members get 2 GiB of free file hosting, which is accessible at /account/files/. This service is work-in-progress. Rules will be visible on the upload page itself.
Prefer using this instead of Matrix to share large files, or files meant to be accessible more permanently and publicly.

Please be aware of the trust you are placing on the homeserver administrator, who has complete control of your account and access to all of your data (with the notable exception of end-to-end encrypted messages). You also need to trust the security of the homeserver, that your data won't be misused by a third party.
Sessions and credentials are stored and managed only by the Matrix homeserver (Synapse). Web services integrate with Synapse for authethication.

Some homeserver traffic is being actively monitored, such as invites. This is done to prevent abuse, such as invite spam.
